A Sense of Scent with Floral Street SCENTSCHOOL.

I always love the descriptive's I read when it comes to describing perfume and fragrance.

"Perfume is the Music that you wear"

"You're Never fully dressed without perfume"

and my favourite is. " Perfume is the Key to our Memories"

The feeling of nostalgia I get from certain fragrances really does transport me back to times that I remember so vividly because of the smell. From the perfume my mum wore on special occasions to the bottle of scent my best pal and I would chip in to buy and share for school and take in turns to take home when we were 12. Its the most magical way to regress.

I discovered Floral street last year and was immediately addicted to Iris Goddess, the first fragrance I smelt by the beautiful company as it immediately took me back to my favourite Hotel in London that always smelt divine and where I have had many a happy memory. In times like now where being at home is all we can do, a welcomed sniff of somewhere that fills me with joy is truly welcomed.

So when I was lucky enough to be invited to attend their incredible Scent school, I of course I agreed and dived in Nose first!! The opportunity on how to use my ' NOSE' to dissect the unique combinations of carefully curated blends that have been used to create such a wonderful array of signature scents that are completely unique to Floral street was one that I could not miss.

Scent School in a box was delivered in the beautifully crafted package that is not only made from totally sustainable and recyclable materiel but it houses a collection of sample fragrances from the brand that are also Completely Vegan and Cruelty free too

I often wonder when something can look this great and still maintain the feeling of Luxury, why would you have it any other way?

So far its a brand that's ticking all of my personal boxes But BOY, I was not prepared for the journey I was about to taking on around the world when every single scent was broken down to the note.

Included in the box are 8 sample size fragrances, including Black Lotus and Neon Rose, A swatch for tested the scents and cards that hold scratch and smell breakdowns of every single note that has been expertly created by Floral Streets very own 'NOSE' . Then are then guided on the journey by one the companies gorgeous Floralistas.

I was transported to Candyfloss heaven, taking me straight back to the days at the funfair thanks to the notes within the beautiful sweet scented Wonderland Peony which also took me down memory lane of rolling down the hills of the backfields after the grass had just been cut and going home with a grass embedded hair!

( Yes I can remember that far back)

I remember what it felt like to smell the morning dew in the wooded canyons on my much missed hikes in California to the soothing relaxing feeling of holidays in tropical destinations thanks to the coconut notes in Arizona Bloom.

Every single note truly took me somewhere and we also got to learn Key facts about the ingredients used as our Floristista gave us some trivia to put in our back pockets on precious petal used within the ingredients.

I am not going to give too much away as I do not want to spoil the surprise if you decide to embark on this lovely experience for yourself, but I felt as though my spirit had well and truly lifted and the "Key to my Memories" had indeed been tapped. Just Wonderful!

It was an hour of real fun, facts and much needed escapism. This particular Scentschool was completed via box delivery and completed as a group online. It was so inclusive and I really felt like I was having an evening hanging out with the girls.

I know what I will be getting for all of my girlfriends birthdays this year. Luckily enough I learnt that all fragrances smell different on every individual due to the way they work with everyones individuals hormones, theramones and body temperatures. So I know that two of my friends will never smell the same. Although there really is such a wide range to choose from I am sure I won't get to that point of buying the same scent unless ones for myself of course!

I cannot recommend a trip to the store in the heart of Covent Garden once store are reopened. But thanks to Scentschool in a box you can get to learn what your signature scent may be ahead of time. Girls I cannot recommend it enough.
